Subscription terms

Stydyo is provided by [Owner to confirm: registered business name and company number]. These terms cover your use of Stydyo on the web and in the iPhone, iPad and Mac app. Our privacy policy explains how personal information is handled.

Stydyo is a service for businesses and the self-employed, used for your work. [Owner to confirm: whether consumers (people not acting for a business) may subscribe, and the cancellation rights that would apply]

The trial lasts 7 days and includes every app and feature for up to 3 people, with 200 AI credits.

To start it you choose a plan and billing period and add a payment method. Before you confirm, you see the exact first payment and its date. Nothing is charged during the trial.

Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your chosen plan starts automatically when it ends and the first payment is taken then. We email you a reminder two days before.

If you cancel during the trial, nothing is charged and you keep access until the trial ends. There is one trial per person: an email address or card that has already had a trial can’t start another.

• Pro: £29 a month or £290 a year, for one person.
• Business: £59 a month or £590 a year, for up to 3 people sharing one workspace.
• Founders offer: the first 100 paying Pro customers on monthly billing pay £19 a month for their first 12 paid months, then £29 a month. It doesn’t apply to annual billing or Business, and ends if the subscription ends.

Every plan includes 2,000 AI credits a month for the whole workspace (shared on Business). When they run out, the AI tools pause until the next month; nothing extra is charged. Files can be up to 500 MB each in your library and 5 GB each for client deliveries. [Owner to confirm: total storage per workspace, if any]

We’ll give you at least [Owner to confirm: notice period, e.g. 30 days] notice by email before changing the price of your plan, and you can cancel before it applies.

Payments are taken by Stripe. Plans renew automatically at the end of each month or year until cancelled.

If a payment fails, we email you and Stripe tries again. Your workspace stays open for a short grace period while you update your card; if the payment still hasn’t gone through, the workspace is paused (see below). Nothing is deleted because a payment failed.

You can cancel at any time from Settings → Plan. Your plan carries on until the end of the period you’ve paid for, then stops.

Moving from Business to Pro keeps everything in the workspace. If more people are on it than the new plan covers, the extra people’s access is paused (not removed), and you choose who stays.

There is no free plan. When a plan ends, the workspace is paused: you can still sign in, download everything and delete your account, and choosing a plan again opens it as it was.

Paused workspaces are kept for [Owner to confirm: how long a paused workspace is kept before deletion, and the warning given first]. You can delete your workspace yourself at any time.

What you make and upload stays yours. We use it only to provide Stydyo to you, as the privacy policy explains.

Verity and the AI tools are only used when you switch them on. Verity asks before anything is sent, posted, charged or deleted, and can never approve spending. You’re responsible for checking what you send to your clients, including anything an AI tool drafted.

Connected services (for example Stripe for your own invoices, or your social accounts) are used under their own terms.

Please don’t use Stydyo for anything unlawful, to send spam, to upload content you don’t have the rights to, or to try to get into other people’s workspaces. We may suspend an account that does, and will tell you why.

We work to keep Stydyo available and your data safe, and to fix problems quickly, but can’t promise it will never be interrupted. Some features rely on outside services and say so where they do.
